Boozy Brunch: Sacred Chow
If you are an omnivore you may be hesitant to venture into your local vegan restaurant and chow down on a soy omelette or an apple beet mimosa. Sacred Chow will make a believer out of even the most skeptic carnivore.
Sacred Chow is nestled on Sullivan St. right next to NYU School of Law. The tiny restaurant has a very rustic decor and there was only one waitress when we went but was more than helpful and sweet.
If you’re concerned about booze, there is a Kosher wine list and specialty cocktails including mimosas and and apple beet lemonade with sparkling wine.
What is pictured above are the most delectable banana french toast, kosher, vegan or otherwise.
Leaving unsatisfied or hungry is not an option at Sacred Chow. For a reasonable price you get a large helping of food that is not only good but good for you as well. Just be sure to share so you aren’t stuffed!
