Lash Talk: Strips Vs. Individuals

I’m just getting into the falsies trend. After fellow blogger, Europe Angelique showed me the wonderful and dramatic difference that false lashes create, I was hooked. I’ve worn individuals and I’ve experimented with strips as well, but which is better? Some say strips are easier to apply, but individuals look better. Other’s think individuals look to spidery and strips look more natural. What do you think?
Here are some key differences in individual lashes and strip lashes:
Individual lashes:
- Recommended for those with thicker lashes
- Last about 2 to 4 weeks, length of lash growth cyle
- No mascara
- Remove with remover solvent or baby oil
- Single lashes applied directly below natural lash
- Attached to natural lash hair
- No eyeliner required
Strip Lashes:
- Recommended for those with thinner lashes
- Last about 1 week
- Can wear mascara
- Remove with baby oil
- To apply: the strip should be applied as close to your lash line as possible.
- Attached to eyelid, close to the lash line
- Eyeliner most often neccessary to cover the strip
