Angela Simmons Gets Urban Chic at 3.1 Philip Lim Show

The 3.1 Philip Lim Spring 2012 collection was everything urban and chic with the perfect dose of edgy surprises at New York Fashion Week. Focusing on loose and a few structured fabrics with a lot of movement, draping, and jersey material, we couldn’t help but feel the urban city vibe of the collection.

Special elements included zippers, leather, cut out shoulders, statement shades, metalics, and lots of color blocking.

At the Philip Lim after party, celebrities like Angela Simmons and Rev Run were spotted with DJ Ruckus on the one’s and twos.

Simmons arrived at the Philip Lim after party in a pair of black leather shorts, a geometric shaped black vest over a gray silk blouse, black cutout wedge booties, and a burst of color with a red leather zippered clutch. She kept her makeup and hair minimal with a soft smokey eye, nude lip, and Pocahontas waves. The Rev took it back to an old school classic with a black and white Adidas jumpsuit.
