Are You a Ride or Die Chick? Rick Ross’s Main Squeeze Is

Rick Ross’s girlfriend Shateria L. Moragne-el was reportedly in the car with rapper Rick Ross the other night when his vehicle was fired at in a drive-by shooting incident early Monday morning.

Ross was driving his Rolls-Royce in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., around 5 a.m. Monday, with Moragne-el in the passenger seat, when their vehicle was fired at with “dozens” of shots.  Luckily none of these shots hit the car.

Ross crashed his Rolls-Royce into a building in an attempt to get away from the shooter, but neither he or Moragne-el were injured, TMZ reported.

TMZ added in a follow-up article that police are gathering surveillance footage shot by a camera at a nearby building.  The Examiner reports that speculation is growing that the shooting may be connected to the death threats made against Ross in December.

Moragne-el is Ross’s main squeeze, and according to her official Twitter account, she was attending a birthday event for her man Sunday night just hours before the shooting incident.

Moragne-el is best-known as a consultant for leading fashion publications.  In September she launched Front Row Coutoure, her debut fashion collection, at an event in New York.

Moragne-el is from Maryland, where she attended the Baltimore of the Arts, majoring in ballet and modern dance.  After graduating she shifted focus to fashion.  The fashion line is one of her main focuses nowadays, and she has established quite the following as one of fashion’s up-and-coming names.  I’m sure we can expect some good things to come from this girl.
