On Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, Beyoncé and Jay-Z shared with the world their first pictures of their beautiful baby girl Blue Ivy Carter. The couple posted the photos a personal tumblr blog. The photos are accompanied by a note from the couple that reads:
We welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives. – The Carter family
Blue Ivy Carter was born on Jan. 7, 2012, at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
