Leather is always a way to spice up your fall and winter outfits, so why not try the look in leggings! Our favorite celebrity fashionistas have been seen sporting the leather look before Fall was even a thought, but now as the weather gets cooler, it makes so much more sense to follow suit.
Take a look at some of our favorite celebrities rocking the trend and a few options for the savvy shopper looking for leggings in your price range. When looking for your faux leather leggings, take a few of these tips with you.
- Try them on before leaving the store! – I cannot stress this enough! Be absolutely sure that you have the best fit for your body without having to deal with various trips to the store. Bring the ideal top for your outfit with you try on so you can get an idea of what your full outfit will look like.
- Don’t overdo the leather! - We’re aren’t auditioning for Grease 3, so keep the leather to a minimum. Do NOT match your leggings with a faux leather top or jacket. You run the chance of someone asking you where’s your motorcycle.. or whip.
- Decide: Trend or staple. Finding the right fit isn’t always easy with faux leather fabrics so make sure you know it’s role in your closet. Are you willing to drop a hefty sum on faux leather pants? Not if you’ll only wear them once, i’m sure. If it’s a staple, it’s not a bad idea to invest, but since when has leather leggings been a staple in anyone’s closet?
