Does Size Play A Factor In Marriage?

In the midst of all the recent breakup and divorce news, a ray of hope shined bright over the holidays with newly engaged couple, LeBron James and Savannah Brinson.

Bron Bron popped the question to his very surprised girlfriend, eight years and two kids later, at a private New Years Eve dinner party in Miami on Saturday night. Savannah has been seen flashing her very nice sized diamond engagement ring at photographers, while sitting court side at her future hubby’s games.

We give LeBron two thumbs up for his selection in the ring, because diamonds are a girls best friend.

Celebrity engagement rings raise the standards for women everywhere. At least once in a girl’s lifetime, she’s fantasized about the size, shape, price, clarity, and color of her future wedding ring.

Seeing as though not every man can afford to purchase a multi million dollar ring for his lady, is there a size that you would deem as unacceptable?

It’s easy to browse the Cartier website, specifically the bridal section, and build your own custom rock potentially reaching six figures. But if your boyfriend got down on one knee with something significantly less or even no diamond at all, would you still say yes?

Would you take him ring shopping to make sure he knows what you expect? Or would you accept whatever he can afford in the name of love?

Spill it ladies. How much does size matter?

I ponder that all the time but I feel the person I marry will know me and know what I want. Me & my best friend were just discussing this very subject. I dont need no 23 karats but it better be more than Jared or Walmart. 3 months salary is what a ring is suppose to be.

I actually agree with you. Of course I want a nice sized diamond, but I won’t die if it’s not over 20 karats. I don’t think it hurts to go window shopping for a ring tho lol

Well let’s be honest, if a man is going to marry you, then he should probably know what you expect. I don’t think any girl who dates a regular guy (ie. not a celebrity) expects a 10 karat ring. Furthermore, while I love a nice size diamond (2-3 karats would be sufficient for me), I would prefer he put his money into our home!

the size of the ring should not matter, unless u r marrying lebron james. that is not good enough coming from the king. (that is what he calls himself) lebron is marrying his high school sweetheart, which is sweet. sorry to be in people pockets, but before he got his nba contract, he had a $90 million dollar contract with nike, not to mention other endorsements alone, not even thinking bout his nba salary. that is too small and it is not even pretty, coming from the king. that is my opinion. but she seems happy with it.
