While first time mom Kerry Washington may have kept the birth of her child under the radar, when it comes to her newfound love for motherhood, she say’s that she is “filled with gratitude.”

Earlier this week, the Emmy-nominated actress took to Twitter to gush about her first Mother’s Day.

On April 21, Washington and her former NFL husband Nnamdi Asomugha welcomed the their daughter Isabelle Amarachi Asomugha into the world!
