Lupita Nyong’o named People’s ‘Most Beautiful’

Lupita Nyong’o continues to have the year of her life. The 31-year-old Kenyan beauty has officially been named People magazine’s most beautiful person! And as far as we’re concerned, it doesn’t get any better than this!

Inside the pages of People magazine, Nyong’o spoke briefly about her early views of beauty and how they were heavily influenced by media.

“Light skin and long, flowing, straight hair,” she stated about her initial thoughts on beauty. “Subconsciously you start to appreciate those things more than what you possess.”

She also gushed about the best compliment she’s received…

“When I have been called beautiful with not one drop of makeup on,” said Nyong’o, adding, “and also before I comb my hair or put on a pretty dress.”

Nyong’o joins the likes of pop icon Beyoncé Knowles and actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who were honored with the title of People‘s Most Beautiful in 2012 and 2013.
