Christian Louboutin Gets Crazy with 2012 Spring Mens Sneaker Line: Are They Practical?

French footwear designer Christian Louboutin continues to push the envelope when it comes to design. His latest 2012 men’s Spring/Summer  sneaker collection comes complete with metal spikes, rhinestones, zebra fur, and a mix of vibrant colors.

These are definitely some crazy styles for men: The “No Limit” sneaker has gold spikes on the toe, with rhinestones covering the sides, while the “Mickael Flat” comes in an aqua suede version and the “Louis Strass” with an all-over rhinestone design.

But are these sneakers practical for men to wear? The aqua suede “Mickael Flat” is the most realistic shoe we can spot men wearing out this spring and summer but the others look like they should be worn only in photo shoots or maybe just to admire in stores.

With the exception of spikes … rhinestones, and zebra fur should be left for women to wear.
