For The Ladies: How To Style Your Jordan Sneakers

Let’s take a pair of classic Jordan’s for example. Eboni Ward, owner of Fly Kix ATL, gave us the scoop on how to pull off a pair of Jordan’s, and three pairs of sneakers every woman should own. Get the 411 below.

Talking Pretty: Can any girl wear Jordan’s or do you need to have a particular style to pull them off?

Ebonie Ward: I think you do of course have to have a style with anything. It takes a girl with style to really take it over the edge. Sometimes girls just throw sneakers on, but I really like to step it up a notch when I wear my sneakers because I’m not the traditional tomboy. When I’m wearing them, I’ll style them with a Jeremy Scott jacket, or Crooks and Castle hoodies, or a Gucci hoodie. I like to compliment the shoes in a fashionista way.

TP: I always see Jordan’s worn in a casual way. How can women dress them up?

EW: In the recent photo that I did for VIBE VIXEN magazine, I dressed them up there with a Jeremy Scott leather jacket, black high waist leggings and a red print shirt from American Apparel, with a red lip, and the Concord’s that come out December 23rd.

TP: 3 sneakers every women should own?

EW: You can’t go wrong with a pair of Adidas, it’s just a really clean shoe. Air Max 95’s are a good running shoe, and a nice pair of Palladium boots are super sexy and really comfortable. You can dress them up or down, put on a pair of stockings or leggings with them, or just have a nice cute little skirt on.
