Fresh face of fashion: Malaika Firth

Malaika Firth, the 19 year old model from Barking, Essex made history when she was chosen to become the face of Prada’s F/W 2013 campaign. Although it’s a shame, Firth is the second black model to ever appear in a major Prada ad. Super model Naomi Campbell was the first.

 Firth will appear in this year’s Victoria’s Secret fashion show. In addition to Prada and Victoria’s Secret she has graced the cover of Vogue and walked for top designers, MIU MIU and Valentino.
