Rihanna: ‘Fashion for charity’

Rihanna gives back…

In the midst of New York Fashion Week, the 26-year-old digs deep into her closet to auction off a few designer pieces to raise funds for her new charity, the Clara Lionel Foundation.

“Fashion for charity! Thank you Fendi for letting me team up with you, on behalf of the #ClaraLionelFoundation , on this wonderful opportunity to give back!!!! #NYFW” She shared via Instagram.

In June 2014, during an appearance at Hard Rock Paris the fashion killer announced that in honor of her beloved grandparents, she was launching the Clara Lionel Foundation. In 2012, Clara Braithwaite, Rihanna’s grandmother, died after a battle with cancer. That same day, Hard Rock kicked off donations when they presented Rih with a generous $200,000 check. Nice!
