Trend Spot: Neon

Neon is becoming one of the biggest trends of 2012 and if I say so myself, I’m falling in love with it. What some haven’t realized is there is a thin line between rocking the look and failing completely. It’s key to never overdo neon. Wearing neon green hair, neon nails, and neon shoes is atrocious. I don’t care how many records you sell, anyone would agree with me.

Colors in the scheme are meant to be worn carefully. I repeat CAREFULLY. Celebrities like Beyonce, Lala, and Kerry Washington have mastered the trend and they have managed to do it with grace. People are also becoming crafty enough to dye denim shorts to bright, neon colors that are perfect for summer.
