7 Must-Haves for Perfect Hair

Achieving perfect hair on a day-to-day basis just got easier. Listed below are the 7 key tools to creating your perfect sleek and healthy hairstyles. These are secrets even the celebrities want to know!

The Shine:

One of my favorite hair products is Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Frizz Serum! I like my hair to look well sheen without the heavy stiffness of most oils or dare i say “grease”. This ultra light-weight serum gives the perfect amount of shine to any hair and even better it’s cheap and lasts forever, because one pump does the trick! Moroccan Oil Treatment is another highly recommended serum, but it’s more expensive.

The Time-Saving Blow Dryer:

To me a blow dryer is a blow dryer, I’m not hair tech. I’m faithful to Vidal Sasson, because frankly, it gets the job done and for a good price. Finding your perfect hair blow dryer is all about what you’re comfortable paying for and what you’ve experienced. I would stray away from the comb dryers and opt for one like the featured image with a detachable diffuser.

The Elastic Day-Savers:

How could you ever get through a day without these suckers? Elastics are definitely essential to having perfect hair, because you never know when you’ll have to swoop your you hair back and save the world. Goody Ouchless elactics are the best on the market. The don’t have the annoying metal connector that tears your hair out and they come in natural colors that blend with your hair.

The Perfect Brush:

Paddle brushes are absolutely necessary for longer hairstyles and always weaves! Paddle brushes are perfect for detangling, smoothing and enhancing the shine and sleekness. They are also essential to creating that super sexy volume. Paddle brushes have a long range of prices, the lowest being around $8 and the highest around $22.

The Strength-Building Conditioner:

As I mentioned in almost all other hair posts, moisturizing is the biggest solution to attaining healthy hair. By deep conditioning your hair at least once a week you are restoring moisture to repair or prevent damaging your hair. I recently started using this Shea Moisture Organic and it has worked mini miracles for my hair. The brand Olive Oil has some great deep conditioner treatments as well as Carol’s Daughter.

The Flatiron:

There are tons of flatirons on the market, but I swear by my Bellezza. This flatiron, unlike the CHI is fully ceramic all the way through and you can tell by the results. Not only does this iron work better than the CHI, but it’s also cheaper! The perfect flat iron= perfect hair!

The Style-Keeping Spray:

Although I’m not a fan of CHI heating tools, I can’t deny their hairspray. Like the shine serum you don’t want anything too heavy. While most hairsprays leave your hair crunching and badly needing a wash, CHI’s hairspray is super light and has no build up. You could literally have impeccable pin curls today and then tomorrow go bone straight without a wash! Yes, it’s that good.

CHI Enviro Flex Hold Hairspray $9.95
