Design Essentials® launched their new community empowerment initiative, Strength To Shine, at the recent Miss Black US Ambassador (MBUSAM) Pageant held at the Gwinnett Performing Arts Center. The Strength to Shine Empowerment Initiative spotlights the accomplishments of women who give back to the community with strength, style and grace.

Throughout the event, the Design Essentials® Style Team provided looks fit for royalty for each of the 28 contestants who hailed from all over the nation. Complementing the mission of the MBUSAM to encourage, empower and enlighten communities, states and nations, the Strength to Shine initiative recognizes women who serve to improve communities across the country. Showcasing their talent, commitment to healthy living and beauty inside and out, the contestants presented their platforms to effect change to an audience of supporters and judges.
