Unretouched image of Mariah Carey released

In a society obsessed with appearances, retouching has become commonplace in areas ranging from high fashion to the simple Instagram profile. Recently, Jezebel released unretouched images of mega superstar Mariah Carey from a recent photo shoot she did with celebrity photographer Terry Ruchardson.

The images flash between the distinctly retouched snaps that were published in the magazine to the unretouched images showing a heavier Carey, with a fuller waist and face.

Regardless of the negativity surrounded the newly released snap, in our opinion, the 44-year-old who gave birth to twins just a few years ago, looks fabuluous… like a real modern day woman and we love it!
