Best looks from the Golden Globe red carpet 2014
The red carpet is seriously the main attraction to all award shows. If you think we’re wrong ask three people what type of awards are given out at the Golden Globes and the Oscars. Now ask those same people who looked the best or worst on either carpet and you won’t have to blink before they give you a full run down.
In the winner’s circle we have …
Lupita Nyongo, who wore Ralph Lauren and was effortless perfection, personified. All and every award handed out last night should have gone to her, and Queen Angela Bassett.
Bassett glided down the carpet and stopped so that we may take in all her radiance as she stood in the Ines Di Santo dress.
Kerry Washington glowed with her Balenciaga covered baby bump
Just in case you wanted to see Lupita Nyongo again …
There is a hung jury out on whether or not Paula Patton’s Stéphane Rolland gown was a hit but we’ll give her a star for giving us baaaaahdy.
Rocsi Diaz looked very elegant.
Usher traded in his Amish-esque look for something a lot more suave.
And then there was Gabourey Sidibe and Zoe Saldana who missed ALL the memos
If you are a size 2 or 22, foundation garments are a must for red carpets, especially if you are going to wear a light hued, clingy fabric.
