Man of the Week: Olympics Star Cullen Jones

2008 Beijing Olympics gold medalist, Cullen Jones takes this weeks title as Man of the Week. The U.S. Olympic swimmer competed in last weeks 50 and 100 meter freestyle at London Aquatics Centre finishing in….. Jones also holds the world record for the 4×100-meter relay.
A little known fact, Jones almost drowned in a waterslide accident at age 5. So aside from his Olympic duties, Jones devotes his time to reducing the drowning deaths of African American children. Through the Make a Splash Initiative, Jones travels the globe retelling his story to minority kids hoping that he can raise the number of minority swimmers and in turn reduce drowning deaths.
