Designer Rachel Roy Talks About Her Spring Collection and Dressing For Your Body Type at NYFW

At designer Rachel Roy’s Spring 2012 presentation at New York Fashion Week, she focused her collection on an androgynous, boy-meets-girl look inspired by the film The Lover.

Roy talked with Pop Sugar TV during her presentation at Lincoln Center Plaza and elaborated on the concept of her new line, her go-to style tips, and how she strives to inspire her daughter.

Celeb spottings at the show included Angela Simmons, Corrine Bailey Rae, and Kim Kardashian to name a few. Simmons wore all black with pops of color including her saturated red blazer and royal blue suede peep-toe booties. Rae choose a lime green 3/4 sleeve dress with soft ruching.
