Hello Kitty is going to try her chance at President of the United States, adding a playful touch to the election season. She recently celebrated having a whopping 10 million Facebook fans that got her in the mood to run! If you wanna have some fun … why not join the party right?!
Beginning mid-October Hello Kitty’s Friendship Party street teams and door-to-door canvassers will start their give aways of free Hello Kitty for President campaign bumper stickers, buttons, and yard signs all throughout Washington, DC. Hello Kitty will be seen out and about leading up to election week, all the way until the election votes are tallied.
Starting November 1, Hello Kitty for President’s Campaign Headquarters will have a pop-up shop at LivingSocial’s 918 F Street in Washington, DC. There will be a host of activities and events, an even an art show. The pop-up shop will be offering limited edition Hello Kitty for President collectibles!
Fans from around the world will even be invited to vote for her Vice President on Facebook. The choices will include some of her closest friends including Tuxedosam®, My Melody®, Badtz-Maru®,Keroppi®, and Chococat®. During the weekend of October 19th Sanrio stores will offer free campaign buttons
