Tennis legend Serena Williams has partnered with Nike, to design a trio of sneakers to makr her “greatness.”
With the U.S. Open kicking off this week, the sportswear brand has announced a new partnership with Williams to produce three distinct sneakers as part of their “Greatness Collection.” Williams first debuted her latest project via Instagram, in the above snap, featuring herself and designer Mark Parker working close… atop the table… a pile of kicks.
Much like the above ad, the project will consist of a Nike Air Max 1 Ultra, Nike Roshe LD-1000 and NikeCourt Flare. Each shoe boasts a safari-like print and monochrome theme. Do you love it?
Outside of her sneaker launch, today is a big day for Williams. “@patrickmouratoglou and @robbyepoole85 Mackie and @zun_hut Patrick- are you ready? Let’s just have fun this next few weeks! #strongisbeautiful #dynamicduo #dreamteam #thatass,” she wrote via Instagram along with a snap featuring she and her coach Patrick Mouratoglou as she readies to tackle yet another championship.
Congrats to Williams on the new line and the best of luck at the US Open (as if you need it).
