3 Ways Yogurt Keeps You Pretty

I have been such a yogurt addict lately, so I decided to research if I was benefiting from this growing addiction. As it turns out, yogurt is especially helpful to your skin. Want glowing, smooth, gorgeous skin? Then look no further, yogurt is absolutely the one.

Nutritious and delicious yogurt has some amazing benefits to your body, because it’s full of protein, calcium, vitamin D and probiotics. While it works its magic on the inside it also works beautifying magic on the outside. Grab a cup of yogurt and let’s get to work!

1. Reduce Discoloration

Acne scars bothering you? You’re in luck! Yogurt has a mild bleaching power that can get rid of discoloration.  By rubbing a few tablespoons of yogurt mixed with a squeeze of lemon juice on your skin for 30 minutes, you can reduce scars and even age spots.

2. Moisturize

Simple yogurt facial once a week can revive and rehydrate dull skin giving you a soft, baby smooth face. The lactic acid in yogurt smooths and exfoliates your skin. Yogurt facials are simple: wash your face, slather natural yogurt on your face and let it settle in for 10 minutes then rinse!

3. Fight Acne

No more spending $$$ on acne products that don’t work this yogurt method is affordable and effective. Yogurt contains natural anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties that fight off acne.  Dab some yogurt on your acne prone areas and let it zap them away then rinse it off after 30 minutes.
