K. Rose just might be the next big thing!
The 19-year-old singer-songwriter, born Katrina Rose Booker-Tandy, is signed to the producers’ Epidemic Music label on Interscope Records and managed by Queen Latifah’s management company, who singed her to the label.
Aside from her being absolutely stunning, she can dance like no other young star in the game. To back up the hype, she has competed in two World Hip Hop Dance Championships.
Born in Hialeah, Florida, the curly-haired blonde dances to her own beat in the video for her debut single “Sleep When I’m Dead,” which she wrote and produced with music producer Steve Angello (Swedish House Mafia).
She wants to encourage others to never give up. “Everyone around you may tell you what you need to do with your life, but only you can write your own life story,” said K. Rose, who is currently recording her debut album.
