10 New York Runway Summer Styles

The one word for earrings this season is BIG! Hoops, chandeliers, bohemian styles and feathers  – they all need to be big and bold like these earrings.

 

 

Asymmetrical necklines were everywhere during fashion week. From Gucci to Lanvin, Prada, Lagerfeld and Valentino, the asymmetrical look was incorporated into everything from evening gowns to casual tops.

 

 

 

Metallic fabrics, especially in gold, were an integral part of the collections from Diane Von Furstenberg, Ralph Lauren and Karl Lagerfeld. Whether you go with a little or a lot, add some flash to your look.

 

 

Bold blocks of color were a recurring theme in many collections including Gucci, Marni and Celine. In both day and evening wear, it’s an easy way to make a strong statement.

 

 

Tribal or ethnic prints and embellishments are a great look for summer. Whether they’re worn head to toe, or mixed with a pair of jeans, items like these from DVF are a must-have.

 

Jade green was a very popular color seen in many collections this year including Gucci. This might be the color of summer.Fringe is in, ladies!
