Taking care of your luscious locks can be quite expensive with all its upkeep. Save some dollars and still get top-notch hair treatments at home. These recipes below will take care of damaged hair, brittle hair and even hair that just needs some shine.

Moisture & Softness

  • 2 teaspoons of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 1 egg
  • 3 drops of rosemary oil
  • 1/4 cup of almond or coconut oil

Mix honey, lemon and egg together in a glass bowl. Heat the mixture double boiler style, by placing the glass over a pot of boiling water until mixture becomes creamy. Let the mixture cool and slowly add in the oils. Apply to hair and cover with a plastic cap for 15-30 minutes. Then shampoo out.

Growth & Shine

  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • 3 teaspoons of warm olive oil
  • 4 drops of rosemary oil

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl then pour into a tightly sealed glass container. Massage into scalp and cover with a warm towel or plastic cap for 30 minutes to condition. Shampoo and rinse with cool water.

Moisture & Restore

  • 1 egg
  • 1 eggshell of olive oil
  • 1/4 of unpeeled cucumber

Blend mixture in a bowl and spread across hair. Leave in hair for 10 minutes and then rinse out; style as usual.
