Law Roach says Zendaya makes sure he gets paid. On the Oct. 20 episode of the Aspire with Emma Grede podcast, the celebrity stylist revealed that Zendaya includes him in her fashion deals and ambassadorships, and has turned down offers when he wasn’t part of them, no matter how big the check. He said the two of them disrupted the fashion industry together.
Roach, 48, who has styled Zendaya since she was 14, also stirred fresh curiosity about her wedding to Tom Holland. He said that she was, allegedly, one of the most beautiful brides he has ever seen.
What did Law Roach say about Zendaya’s fashion deals?
Roach told Grede that he is paid for his involvement in Zendaya’s fashion career and that she talks openly about including him in every deal. He called her a sister rather than a client and said she brings him into decisions about her ambassadorships and partnerships.
He also said Zendaya has walked away from deals if he wasn’t coming with her. She trusts him to protect her, he explained, and she believes the money will come. In his words, it already has.
Law Roach REVEALS the insane level of loyalty Zendaya has for him in the fashion industry 🤯
He explains that Zendaya makes sure he gets a cut of every single one of her brand deals. If a company refuses to include and pay him, she will completely turn down the offer and walk away. He says she always protects him financially and that they disrupted the entire industry because this kind of partnership is unheard of 👏
“Any fashion deal that she does, I’m included in those deals… she’d be like, ‘Oh no, if he’s not coming, I’m not doing it.'”

Why does Law Roach say stylists deserve more money?
Roach argues that his work with Zendaya on press tours sells movie tickets. He pointed to the Mugler robot suit she wore for the second Dune film, saying it drew in people who knew nothing about the series. He said the winged Matières Fécales gown she wore for The Odyssey made audiences curious about her character before they knew anything else about the film.
Because he has numbers to back that up, Roach says he is now pushing a fashion and film industry worth billions to pay for that impact, both for himself and for the next generation. At his peak, he said, styling alone brought in $4 million to $5 million in revenue. He has trademarked the title Image Architect and calls himself a bankable brand.
How did Law Roach build his career?
Roach grew up on Chicago’s South Side and credits his grandmother with his love of fashion. Watching The Rachel Zoe Project in 2008, he saw Zoe meet Giorgio Armani at a show and decided he wanted a front row seat of his own.
He started in 2009 as a vintage broker, with singer K. Michelle as his first styling client. His roster has since included Céline Dion, Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian, Megan Thee Stallion and Tracee Ellis Ross. He is also a judge on Project Runway.
There is something bigger in this story. A Black man from the South Side is setting terms in luxury fashion, and one of the biggest stars in the world is using her leverage to make sure her collaborator gets paid. In our community, that is called putting your people on.
Was Zendaya’s wedding to Tom Holland public?
No, and Roach admitted he wishes it had been a little more public so people could see her. The timeline has been a puzzle all year. Roach claimed at the Actor Awards in March that the wedding had already happened. Holland confirmed the marriage in an Esquire interview in June, and a source told PEOPLE the couple held another celebration in Surrey, England, on Aug. 4. No wedding photos have been released. Roach has said the real dress was better than the images made with AI that circulated online.
Will Law Roach ever reveal Zendaya’s wedding dress?
Don’t count on it. Roach explained that Zendaya is quiet and private while he is not, but protecting her privacy comes first. As long as people keep asking about the wedding, he said, they will get a different answer every time.
So the one look Law Roach may be proudest of is the one he plans to never show us. Allegedly.
