After a seven year absence, Cardi B is returning to Kansas City. The 33 year old rapper brings her Little Miss Drama tour to the T-Mobile Center on Tuesday, March 17, her first appearance in the city since headlining the Flyover hip-hop festival at Azura Amphitheater in Bonner Springs back in 2019. For fans in the area who have been waiting, the show is well overdue.
The tour supports her sophomore studio album, AM I THE DRAMA?, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 when it dropped on September 19, 2025, further cementing her position as one of the most dominant figures in hip-hop. Cardi B remains the first female rapper to earn three RIAA diamond certified songs, a list that includes Bodak Yellow, I Like It and WAP.
What to expect at the show
Doors at the T-Mobile Center open at 6:30 p.m., with Cardi B scheduled to take the stage at 7:30 p.m. No official opening act has been announced for the Kansas City date, though surprise guests have been a regular feature of the tour throughout its run. At various stops she has brought out Megan Thee Stallion, Kehlani, GloRilla and Tyla, keeping crowds guessing from city to city.
The tour leans into a drama school theme, and the unofficial dress code follows that concept. Varsity jackets, plaid skirts, cardigans and vests are the look fans have embraced at previous stops, with many showing up in full character and drawing significant attention on social media for their outfits.
One of the most talked-about recurring moments of the tour has been a coordinated crowd challenge during the song Pretty and Petty. When Cardi B delivers the line referencing fellow rapper Bia, the audience goes completely silent for several seconds in a mute challenge that has gone viral at nearly every stop. The moment plays directly off the real-life feud between the two artists that generated a string of diss tracks and kept fans engaged throughout the year.
The tour has also attracted headlines beyond the music. Cardi B used several tour stops to speak out against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, sparking a public exchange with the Department of Homeland Security that dominated news cycles for days and added another layer to an already eventful run of shows.
Tickets and logistics for Tuesday’s show
Tickets for the March 17 performance are still available through Ticketmaster. Standard admission begins at $253.25, while verified resale options start at approximately $193.20 for those looking for a lower entry point.
The T Mobile Center asks fans to keep bags small, no larger than 12 by 6 by 12 inches, and to leave backpacks, outside food, cameras with detachable lenses and selfie sticks at home before heading to the venue.
For parking, on-site lots are available at 14th and Oak, 12th and Oak and the KC Live! garage at 13th and Grand Boulevard, with advance parking passes ranging from roughly $38 to $59. Free street parking is available on a first come basis for those arriving early. The KC Streetcar offers a free ride to the stop at 14th and Main, which is the closest public transit option to the venue.
The viral Stefon Diggs rumors do not hold up
While the tour has kept Cardi B at the center of entertainment conversations, a separate wave of online speculation about her personal life has been circulating just as quickly. A widely shared social media post claimed she had unfollowed NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs on Instagram following an alleged breakup involving a newborn, and that she had since been spotted in Tulum with a new partner described as an NBA player. A supposed statement attributed to Cardi B about the situation also spread rapidly across X and other platforms.
None of it has been verified by any credible source. The alleged statement does not appear in any confirmed interview, official social media post or communication from Cardi B herself. The claims appear to have originated from fan accounts and meme pages before being picked up and reshared as though they were confirmed reporting. Diggs has also not addressed any aspect of the story publicly.
Cardi B has a well documented history of being a frequent target for fabricated viral stories, largely because her outspoken personality and enormous social media following make her name an easy vehicle for engagement-driven content.
What is confirmed is straightforward. The tour is real, the album is real and the Kansas City show is happening Tuesday. The rest remains unverified internet noise until either person addresses it directly.
