Dunkin’ is giving away a free limited edition Bat Cup Sleeve today, Friday, Oct. 16, to anyone who buys a Berry Battie Daydream Refresher of any size at participating locations nationwide. It’s one sleeve per order, and only while supplies last.
That last phrase is doing heavy lifting. A Halloween cup accessory has folks acting like it’s release day for a pair of Jordans, and there’s a reason behind the hype.
How do you get the Dunkin’ Bat Cup Sleeve?
Walk in or pull up to a participating Dunkin’ and order the Berry Battie Daydream Refresher. According to Dunkin’s own offer terms, any size counts. That makes the small the smart play. You get the same sleeve for the lowest price on the board.
The drink starts with Dunkin’s Berry Clementine Refresher, then adds blueberry flavor and oat milk. It’s finished with Purple Marshmallow Cold Foam and candy eyes. It hit menus Oct. 14.

What does the Dunkin’ Bat Cup Sleeve look like?
Dunkin’ describes it as a plush sleeve with fuzzy purple wings that wrap around the cup and stick out from the sides. In plain English, your drink gets its own costume. One national report described a black sleeve with metallic wings instead, but Dunkin’s own blog and press release say purple and fuzzy.
Why is Dunkin’ turning a drink into a character?
This is the part most coverage skips. The sleeve exists to sell Berry Battie, the cheeky bat mascot Dunkin’ introduced this week.
The brand has run this play before. The Spider Donut started as a simple bakery item and grew into Spidey D, a mischievous character with its own online personality. Now Spidey D has merch, including a $9.99 keychain and an $8.99 Mystery Boo Box.
Berry Battie looks like the next recruit. A free plush sleeve puts that bat in your hand, on your desk and all over your camera roll. That’s cheaper marketing than any billboard.
What else is on the Dunkin’ Halloween menu?
The Spider Donut is back. The Halloween Munchkins Bucket returned with a purple design that glows in the dark for the first time. It holds 50 Munchkins, and $2 from each bucket goes to the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation.
The lineup also includes Green Apple Dunkin’ Zero energy drinks, a Werewolf Punch Refresher and a Nutty Nightmare Iced Coffee. Rewards members can earn four times the bonus points when they order ahead on Mondays through Oct. 26.
How many Dunkin’ Bat Cup Sleeves does each store have?
Nobody official is saying. A YouTube Short that circulated ahead of the drop claimed each location would get only 20 sleeves. Dunkin’ hasn’t confirmed that number, and supplies likely vary by store.
Still, if that count is anywhere close, the morning rush will clean out a busy location before lunch. So here’s the move. Go early, order the small and check with your local store before you make the trip. If the counter is empty by noon, that rumor might have been right all along.
