The first episode of a new TV One reality show has hit the Web. “R&B Divas” chronicling the lives of Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert, Syleena Johnson, Monifah and Keke Wyatt as they work on separate business endeavors and later a collaborative album.
In the premiere episode viewers will see Faith Evans discussing her famous ex, Biggie Smalls; while singer Syleena Johnson dubs herself “one of the most underrated artists” of her generation.
“I’ve been doing this for 20 years, thought I was gonna be a one-hit wonder? Oh, how sad of you,” she retorts.
Also highlighted is singer Monifah, who details her struggle with drug abuse. “I used cocaine for seven years, it wasn’t until about three years that I decided I wanted to live,” she said.
