It has been a fast and deliberate rise for Olandria Carthen. Just four months after leaving the Love Island villa in 2025, she made her first major fashion statement at the CFDA Awards, arriving in a fully custom Brandon Blackwood look alongside the designer himself. Now, roughly six months after that night, the reality star has gone from wearing the brand to having an entire collection named after her.
The partnership is not simply a celebrity endorsement built on visibility. By her own account, Olandria’s connection to Brandon Blackwood’s bags predates the red carpets and press opportunities the brand was present from the very beginning of her public journey, and she has been deliberate about supporting Black designers whose work she genuinely believes in.
How the collaboration came together
The introduction between Olandria and Blackwood was made through her stylists, Matthew and Reginald Reisman, the duo known in fashion circles simply as The Reismans. From there, it was her personality equal parts playful, polished, and warm that shaped the creative direction of the entire line.
The collection was designed to reflect who she is: vibrant and lighthearted, but rooted in a clear, confident femininity. A combination of pink and black runs through every piece, a pairing that the brand describes as striking in its contrast soft in one light, sharp in another. That tension between delicacy and edge is very much the point.

What the 11 piece collection includes
The line consists of 11 products, each one a reimagined version of a classic Brandon Blackwood silhouette, distinguished by a gold-plated tag engraved with Olandria’s signature.
The O-Zip Mini Trunk is a reworked version of the Kendrick Trunk, swapping out the signature buckle for a wraparound zipper that gives the style a sleeker, more modern edge.
The O-Top Handle Bag draws from the Madison Bag but leans into a more structured shape and a refined, polished finish.
The O-Vanity Case is a compact reinterpretation of the brand’s classic Vanity silhouette, scaled down without sacrificing the bag’s inherent drama.
Nearly every piece in the collection with the exception of the O-Lipstick Case Bag Charm is offered in three colorways across two materials: black oiled leather, pink oiled leather, and hot pink canvas. The range gives the collection versatility without losing the cohesion of its visual identity.
The campaign that brings it all to life
The campaign, shot by photographer Nico Daniels, lets Olandria do what she does naturally command attention. In one image, she is on the ground in a pink leotard, dotted stockings, and black stilettos with a stack of bags balanced across her back. In another, she appears in nothing but long black boots, legs crossed, swinging the black oiled top handle bag from one hand with the kind of ease that is difficult to fake.
The images are confident without being overdone, and they reflect the same balance the bags themselves aim to strike bold enough to make a statement, refined enough to last beyond a single season.

A relationship that is just getting started
Brandon Blackwood has made clear that this collection is not a one time moment. The brand framed the release as the continuation of a relationship with Olandria, with each piece designed to stand independently while remaining anchored in the label’s signature approach to bold silhouettes, rich textures, and intentional construction.
For Olandria, the collaboration represents something personal as much as it does professional. Supporting Black designers has been a stated priority throughout her time in the public eye, and aligning with a brand that championed her before the opportunities started rolling in carries weight that goes beyond fashion.
The collection is available now, and if the trajectory of the past year is any indication, it is unlikely to sit on shelves for long.
