Tom Holland and Zendaya have quietly become husband and wife, exchanging vows in a private ceremony held at a countryside estate in England, according to multiple entertainment outlets.
The two stars, known worldwide for playing Peter Parker and MJ in the Spider-Man franchise, held their celebration at Beaverbrook Hotel, a five star property tucked into the Surrey Hills near Leatherhead. The venue, which spans hundreds of acres and offers dozens of rooms and cottages, was reportedly booked exclusively for the occasion.
A wedding built on secrecy
Reports indicate the celebration cost roughly £500,000, and the couple took unusual steps to keep the day under wraps. Guests and staff were reportedly asked to hand over their phones before entering, a move meant to prevent any photos or details from circulating online.
Family members were closely involved in the festivities. Holland’s three brothers, Sam, Harry and Paddy, stayed in cottages scattered across the property and wore black tuxedos accented with small wildflowers tucked into their lapels, giving the event a relaxed, natural feel rather than a formal affair.
Outlets have also reported that around 250 guests attended, including a notable roster of famous faces. Names circulating in coverage include Robert Downey Jr, Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner, though neither the couple nor their representatives have confirmed a guest list.
From costars to a life together
Holland and Zendaya first crossed paths in 2016 while auditioning for Spider-Man Homecoming, the film that introduced their characters and eventually reshaped their real lives. Their on-screen chemistry as Peter Parker and MJ carried into the sequels, and by the time their characters shared an on-screen kiss in 2019’s Spider-Man Far From Home, fans had already begun speculating about a real relationship.
That speculation was confirmed in the summer of 2021, when photos surfaced of the pair kissing in a car. Months later, Holland marked Zendaya’s birthday with a warm public message, offering one of the first glimpses into their relationship beyond the movie screen.
Engagement rumors followed in early 2025 after Zendaya was spotted wearing a large ring on her left hand, a detail confirmed shortly afterward. Speculation about an actual wedding intensified this year, particularly after comments from stylist Law Roach suggested the ceremony had already quietly taken place. Holland later addressed the rumors directly, telling a magazine that relatives were not fooled by AI generated wedding photos circulating online, since they had personally attended the real event.
In the weeks since, Holland has begun referring to Zendaya as his wife in interviews, further cementing what many fans had long suspected.
Guarding their privacy
Despite widespread public interest, both stars have consistently pushed back against sharing too many personal details. Zendaya has spoken previously about the challenge of navigating fame alongside a relationship that began on screen, noting that years of playing love interests on camera made the public feel unusually invested in her real romance.
She has described trying to strike a balance, acknowledging the curiosity surrounding her life while still protecting moments meant only for herself and her partner. That approach appears to have carried directly into their wedding planning, with the couple prioritizing intimacy over spectacle.
For now, no official photos from the ceremony have been released, and representatives for the couple and the venue have not issued public statements. Still, the outpouring of interest across entertainment coverage suggests the wedding has become one of the most talked about celebrity moments of the year, even without a single confirmed image to accompany it.
