Nicki Minaj Poses for Glamour Magazine

It’s refreshing to see Nicki Minaj enjoying a fashion comeback in the upcoming issue of Glamour Magazine after the interesting ensemble, to say the least, that she wore to the MTV VMA awards.

The Harajuku barbie is all smiles in a fun spread where she sports a platinum blonde bob wig, her signature pink lipstick and labels from Dolce & Gabbana, Tom Ford, Christian Louboutin and Giuseppe Zanotti. Decked out in statement making accessories, Minaj said, “Accessories really make an outfit. I just feel more made-up with them on.”

In the spread she talked about her love for color making her feel happier and her admiration for Marilyn Monroe. “I’ve always adored Marilyn Monroe —mostly for her facial expressions,” said Minaj.

We don’t see the Harajuku barbie dressed down too much, but Minaj says she’s very low-key when she’s not dressing up in Barbie get up.

“In my downtime, I’m the most low-key person in the world. We all have insecurities, but you have to know you’re beautiful. I’m comfortable in my skin and I don’t feel the need to change for anyone.”
